Website navigation improvement and new branding proposal

Improving the navigation at Patroa Studio's website and bridging the gap between the online experience and the local in person contact

Patroa Studio, a niche e-commerce brand for queer and female artists, faced a common "small business paradox." While the brand had high-quality products and strong local loyalty, the online experience lacked the storytelling and technical clarity needed to convert "mindful consumers." Users struggled with navigation, ambiguous size guides, and a lack of emotional connection to the creators behind the art. I approached this by identifying the brand’s core differentiator: its community-driven mission. My strategy focused on "Social Proof through Storytelling." By redesigning the Information Architecture and introducing "Artist Spotlight" sections, I aimed to replicate the intimacy of a Berlin street market in a digital space. Every UI decision—from a clearer search bar to a revamped "About Us"—was designed to lead with empathy for the conscious shopper.

Redesigning the brand to reflect quality and community

The final delivery was a high-fidelity, responsive ecosystem that replaced technical constraints with intuitive features like interactive size guides and simulated product placements. I developed a new, approachable brand identity—centered on an "artist’s signature" logo—to serve as a seal of quality. The result is an e-commerce platform that doesn't just sell prints, but successfully translates the "Patroa" mission into a professional, trustworthy, and high-converting user journey.
